*UPDATE* The recording of Anna Karenina (on which,
Kerry portrays the role of Kitty) has gone back into the studio. While
Kerry's contributions are remaining in tact, the roles portrayed by
James Naughton and Roger Bart are now being played by Greg Edelman
and Jeff McCarthy. Bruce Yeko, producer for Original Cast Records
is hoping for an early Summer release date, but it could be as late
as early Fall. Check the "NEWS" section for updates as they
occur.

A medley of lullabies has been added to the "Recordings"
section. The CD "Sleep Well Tonight" which appears in this
section is not available in stores as it was created exclusively for
a corporate client. The third song in the medley reunites Kerry with
her Bat Boy co-star, Kaitlin Hopkins. |

The "Recordings" section has been updated with
two videos. The first is one of the segments of Kerry's recent appearance
on Sesame Street. The second is an older clip from One Life To Live.

Kerry will be appearing on Sesame Street on March
13th. Check your local listings for channel and time. Please
note that in NY, the episode may be airing on March 14th instead.
According to the Public Television website, in the episode, Lulu learns
about Ms. Camp (Kerry), the letter carrier. Lulu would love to be
a letter carrier but is disappointed that she has to wait until she
grows up. She pretends to deliver mail and has a great time. Maria
reminds her that there may be other jobs she will be interested in,
and at the end of the show, Lulu is fascinated by the Ice Cream Vendor.

Kerry has begun rehearsals for an upcomming reading of
"Drive All Night". The show is a rock opera (no dialogue)
comprised of the songs of Bruce Springsteen. More details to come. |

Prodigal has its first performance. The show begins previews
at the York on Thursday, February 28th and opens on March 12th. In
the cast with Kerry are Alison Fraser, David Hess, Joshua Park and
Christian Borle.

The deal has been made for Kerry to play the role of Penny
Pingleton in the much anticipated "Hairspray". The musical,
based on John Waters film of the same name will also star Harvey Fierstein.
This is the same role that Kerry did for the reading at a recent workshop. |

Kerry will be in the York Theatre Company's production
of "Prodigal". This is the U.S. premiere of the Australian
musical about Luke Flannery who runs away to avoid working in the
family business. When he is forced to return home, the family must
deal with the differences between the son they knew and the one who
has come home to them. The production will run from February 26th
through April 7th, 2002. Tickets are available through Telecharge. |

*UPDATE* Kerry, along with a cast that includes Laura Bell
Bundy, Mary Bond Davis, Harvey Fierstein, Linda Hart, Dick Latessa,
and David Coburn and others, will be doing the reading of the musical
"Hairspray" based on the John Waters film of the same name.
Kerry is performing the role of "Penny Pingleton". The reading
is being directed by Jack OBrien and choreography is by Jerry
Mitchell. Hairspray looks set for a regional mounting in the spring
then onto Broadway early next season. |

On November 14th, Kerry taped an appearance on Sesame Street
which will appear sometime next year. Also, Kerry will be participating
in the reading of the musical "Hairspray" based on the movie

Kerry will be doing the latest James Lapine workshop entitled
"Le Passe Muraille". This show (based on the story by Marcel
Ayme) won the French "Tony" for best musical a few years
ago and has since been translated into english. Music and lyrics are
by Michel Legrand. The story revolves around a man that wakes up one
day to discover he can walk through walls. Also in the workshop are
Malcom Gets, Melissa Errico, Norm Lewis and John Cunningham. |

in Anna Karenina for Original Cast Records. Joining Kerry in the studio
were Melissa Errico, Roger Bart, Marc Kudisch, James Naughton
and Brian D Arcy James. Backed by a 20 piece orchestra, look for this

Kerry will be doing a reading of the musical "The Mystery of
the Dancing Princesses" on Monday, September 24th. The first
reading is at 10:30 am and will be at the Houseman Theater and then
again at the Fairbanks Theater at 1 pm. She will be playing opposite
her Bat Boy co-star, Deven May. The reading is a part of a convention
of all new musicals. According to the National Alliance for Musical
Theatre website, THE MYSTERY OF THE DANCING PRINCESSES has book, music
& lyrics by Alan Zachary & Michael Weiner. They describe the
show thus: "Family audiences will enjoy this delightful and clever
fairy tale musical about a young prince who solves a mystery and wins
the hand of a princess..." |
