Plus, you can see a promotional video of Kerry in the studio by clicking HERE!
"Recording my CD has been so inspirational for me, with so many of the songs having such great and inspiring messages. One track in particular — "It's a Small World" leading into "God Help the Outcasts" — is one of my favorites.
With over 30,000 children dying every day from problems that CAN be solved, I decided I wanted to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of "Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust" to World Vision.
World Vision is a highly rated and respectable charity that helps people all over the world struggling from global poverty and hunger. We witnessed their organization first hand when we (my husband and I) went to Ethiopia to pick up our daughter. They do so many wonderful things in dangerous areas of the world, like the Sudan. They help provide food and water where there is none. They assist with education, micro loans and emergency relief.
It really is a small world, and we can all make a difference and help out the people who need it most."
— Kerry Butler, May 2008

Exciting news: Kerry will be in the studio later this month to begin recording her debut solo album for PS Classics - and you can win a chance to attend a recording session.
"For a few years now I've been asked if I was ever going to record my own CD and I'm finally doing it with PS Classics. I am so excited about this project and wanted to do something unique - which was to throw it back to the people who have made suggestions in the past. So I decided I would leave one slot open after I chose the tracks that I just had to sing – and then let the listeners decide what that final song should be" - Kerry Butler

Kerry has taped her last episodes as Claudia Reston on One Life To Live. Claudia will depart Llanview on January 3rd. TVGuide.com reports "the very talented Kerry Butler — who plays Nash's dysfunctional ex, Claudia Reston — is leaving Llanview.
"I liked Kerry very much," head writer Dena Higley tells TVGuide.com. "She was fabulous as an addict. But we have a big cast to write for, and we can't have too many new faces calling the shots.
"Claudia's function in the story had come to its conclusion," Higley adds. "She was very useful for illustrating Nash's reprobate past, and then when we felt like her usefulness had come to an end, it was time to say goodbye.
"We send her off in a lovely way. Claudia gradually comes to the realization that Nash will never love her. Also, in a very Robin Williams-like way, she realizes she's fallen off the wagon and she decides to take pre-emptive measures before it gets too bad and she hits rock bottom. So Claudia checks herself back into rehab" |
